Wonderful little restaurant with friendly service and good food. Has a great dinner there tonight. We started with sharing the herring starter. Our 1st Swedish herring which was very good. Next we each had the. Swedish meatballs, again wonderful. Followed by dessert and coffee. One very unexpected was the wine at 425 sek was very good and much less than we'd seen for a bottle of French wine anywhere in Stockholm.
The cardamom cinnamon bun was incredibly delicious, and the coffee was excellent—rich and well-balanced.
Really nice Swedish restaurant in the old city center of stockholm! The atmosphere is very warm with a cozy interior and friendly service. We both had the swedish meatballs which were delicious and exactly how I like them. This is definitely a restaurant to check out!
I really want to give you 6 stars. Service, ambience and most importantly the food. I was here on 26th and we werent too hungry. What a waste. You serve great food at a reasonable price considering it is Gamla Stan. Really love the meatball and reindeer.
Lovely restaurant with a cozy comfortable dining room in the historic district. The decor is very inviting and the outdoor seating (enclosed and heated for winter) is a rare alfreaco winter treat. The elk carpaccio was simply amazing. Great for a coffee and pastry on the go, too.
The food was incredibly tasty, we ordered the meatballs and pork schnitzel(dish of the day) and it was fenomenal.
This was honestly the best meal I’ve had since arriving in this city. I came on my own, and the Swedish meatballs were absolutely delicious 🤤 perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and very satisfying.
Lovely place for a traditional meal. The girls serving were very sweet and helpful. We weren’t massively hungry, so we got the shrimp toast and the herring platter — both really good. We also tried the meatballs, which were delicious! Slightly on the pricier side, but overall great and worth it.
Really great service and food. We came here for lunch on a Thursday and we're able to get seated right away. The server gave good recommendations and we very much enjoyed the Reindeer dish. It had a nice sweet flavour to it. We also enjoyed the swedish meatballs as it was well seasoned. I highly recommend dining at this restaurant.
